Urban Outfitters Beauty Hall

It is yet another time that I have spent entirely too much money on new beauty products. Part of me wishes that these times were farther apart, but the beauty obsessed part of me wishes it were 10 times a day (if only I had an endless supply of money in the bank #lifegoals). I hope I’m not boring you with my never ending haul posts, but I can’t stop writing them because once again I have a lot to talk about, so let’s get started.

Have you taken a stroll through Urban Outfitters lately? I was really surprised when I was at one during the spring because all of a sudden there were these little beauty gems sprinkled around the store. They still have their typical makeup sets by NYX which have been there forever, but now they also have Korean beauty brands, a few all natural brands, candles galore, and a lot of up-and-coming indy brands that have recently crossed my radar. I am so in love with this new selection that I have taken a stroll through Urban Outfitters numerous times since.

During these strolls I have picked up products left and right including:

The Tangle Teaser Original Detangling Hairbrush ($16). This hairbrush has had a bit of a moment over the past few years and can be found in many beauty lover’s collections. It took me a while to pick one up because I never saw one in a color or at a price I wanted, so when I finally saw it in Blue I knew I had to pick it up. This can be used on wet or dry hair and is designed to detangle hair safely even at it’s weakest when wet. I prefer using this after the shower because it is really good at getting my hair detangled and for when my hair is dry I prefer using my Mason Pearson Pure Bristle Pocket Brush ($68.65). The only thing I don’t like about the Tangle Teaser is that it is hard to get a good grip and I often drop it on the floor, but all in all this is a really good buy.

I have also purchased a few of Tony Moly Face Masks in Aloe and Rice ($3) and have really enjoyed them. You do have to lie down while wearing these because they will slide off your face, but once taken off the masks leave your skin glowing and feeling refreshed.

When the Tony Moly Fruit Hand Cream in Peach ($14) was first released at Sephora I really wanted to pick one up because the smell, texture, and adorable packaging are amazing. But of course it sold out quickly and I was never able to get one, that is until I saw it at Urban Outfitters. I’m really happy with it so far but I do warn you the peach scent is intense and lasts a long time so do keep that in mind if you are sensitive to fragrances.

Another product I picked up was PF Candle Co.’s Amber Jar Soy Candle in Teakwood Tobacco ($24) which smells amazing. It has a woodsy and musky smell that is reminiscent of men’s cologne, which is something that I really enjoy. I love burning this candle and it has become one of my favorites just after my Diptyque Rose Scented Candle ($32-$62).

I don’t know how you feel about putting snail mucin on your face but I’m really excited about it. If you are unaware snail mucin is packed full of anti-aging and antibacterial properties that work wonders for your skin. I have yet to try out products with snail mucin so I decided starting off with the Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Hydro Gel Mask ($6) would be a good place to start.

I’m always hearing about how wonderful and effective Mario Badescu products are but I had yet try them out for myself, but when I saw the Facial Spray with Aloe Herbs and Rosewater ($7) I decided to give some of his products a go. What attracted me to this facial spray is 1. I love facial sprays and 2. I have a slight rose obsession. In my mind it was a match made in heaven.

The final product I picked up at Urban Outfitters was Mario Badescu’s Special Hand Cream with Vitamin E ($8). I really don’t need another hand cream in my life since my cabinet is full of them, but of course I couldn’t resist the idea of opening it up and trying some on the back of my hands. The texture of this is wonderful and it smells amazing, and most importantly it had a great price. I have never been able to resist a good deal.

I hope you enjoyed reading this and hope I have inspired you to get to your nearest Urban Outfitters, the new selection is to die for!
