Last week I received the 3rd Sephora Play! Box. This box’s theme was “The Exclusives” and was filled with products that can only be found at Sephora. This box came with an oil, a primer, an eyeliner, two lip products, and a fragrance. All of the products in the box this month are of excellent quality and are wonderful additions to any collection.
The oil I received was by Josie Maran, and is her classic Argan Oil ($48). This can be applied anywhere on the body as a moisturizer, can be used as an eye makeup remover, or mixed with your foundation for an added glow.
The primer was Make Up For Ever’s Step 1 Skin Equalizer ($36) in Hydrating Base. This base keeps skin hydrated all day without making it oily, and has a nice texture that feels comfortable on the skin. This can be applied before foundation or mixed with foundation for sheer coverage.
The eyeliner was Sephora’s Contour Eye Pencil Waterproof 12HR Wear ($10). This is in the bright blue color, My Boyfriend’s Jeans. This can be worn classically, in the waterline, or smudged for an edgy look. And no matter the look you choose, you can rest assured that it will last all day.
One of the lip products was Bite Beauty’s High Pigment Pencil ($24) in Rhubarb. This is a beautiful neutral rose that is a great everyday color. Bite Beauty’s lip products are made of all natural ingredients making them edible. If you want the lipstick to last longer try applying it twice and blotting in between the layers.
The other lip product I received was Buxom’s Full-On Lip Cream ($19) in Dolly. This is a plumping gloss that gives your lips a cool minty feel. The color Dolly is a great universally flattering shade that is perfect for everyday wear.
The last product I received was Stella McCartney’s Stella Eau De Parfum ($72). This fragrance has a beautiful blend of Bulgarian Rose and Amber that gives it a feminine and sophisticated feel.
