Travel Series

Europe is an amazing continent filled with fascinating countries and many beautiful cities. I love the rich history that lies there and the many different cultures that exist so closely together. I have been to Europe a few times over the years and every time I go I never get my fill. There is always too much to see and never enough time to see it all, so I like to remedy that by going as much as possible. My favorite thing about Europe is that you get the cultural experience without feeling culture shocked. As much as I love traveling to places like South America or Asia I find the primitive lifestyle (and lack of plumbing) hard to live with for an extended period of time. Now don’t get me wrong, when I do travel I do not travel at the height of luxury. Why should I spend thousands of dollars on a fancy hotel and expensive restaurants so I can only afford to stay a few days, when I could take that money and live more simply and be able to stay for weeks? My trip might be less glamorous but I’m going to get a richer experience every time.

I am excited to announce that in a few short weeks I am embarking on a European Adventure. I will be visiting three major cities in Europe: London, Paris, and Barcelona. Because of this trip I have decided to work on a travel series for my blog including my travel essentials, a travel guide for each city, and a photo series of all my adventures.

While away I plan on eating an excessive amount of food (not that I need an excuse) and soaking up some culture along the way. I’m also excited to be able to get my hands on products that are unavailable in the states (without paying crazy global shipping prices) like the company Biorderma.

You can expect to see a lot of posts for this series in the coming weeks. I hope you enjoy.
