I had the fortune of seeing the new movie Guardians of the Galaxy in theaters at the midnight showing on August 1 this week. And let me tell you, it was amazing!

It has the perfect mix of action and comedy that is Marvel’s specialty. I used to think that The Avengers couldn’t be beat, but boy was I wrong. This movie sells itself within the first five-seconds, so much so that the rest of the movie could have been absolute crap and I would have still been singing it’s praises. Chris Pratt really shows off his comedic skills throughout this movie, and couldn’t have played a role that showcases those skills better. I highly enjoyed watching this movie, and wouldn’t be surprised if I saw it again while it’s still in theaters.

Definitely one to watch!
